Listing Studio + PhotoDesk in this OS
Grounded copy from inventory SoT plus this-VIN PhotoDesk cleanup. HITL only — never invent finance.
Listing Studio at /listings writes marketing copy from the inventory system of record — this rooftop’s VIN, stock number, year, make, model, trim, condition, and days in stock. The desk does not scrape a classifieds site or invent a second vehicle file. If the unit has an asking price on the record, the draft prints that asking figure and labels it as coming from inventory. If there is no asking price, the copy says “see store.” That phrase is the honest fallback, not a stall.
Do not invent APR, MSRP, or monthly payments. MSRP only appears when it already lives on the unit card. Payments, residual, and “as low as” language are out of scope for this desk. The generator will not fill a blank with a guess. If a number is missing, leave it missing or send the shopper to the store.
PhotoDesk is the photo half of the same desk. It works only on this VIN’s lot stills — files already attached to the unit (Blob, Drive, or upload). Catalog heroes, OEM press shots, and Intelligence directory stills are factory examples. They are never published as this stock unit. If the unit has no stills, upload a lot photo first. PhotoDesk will refuse to invent a car.
Scene and light jobs name an empty plate (showroom, clean lot, studio white) and place this VIN in the frame. Background, lighting, crop, and shadow are allowed. Damage fill, dent repair, rust removal, odometer change, plate swap, and VIN edits are blocked. Gemini, Imagen, and other generative redraw engines are not the listing engine — they redraw the car and that is a misrepresentation.
Every listing-copy and listing_photo job is a HITL draft. autoPublish stays false. Original stills remain on the unit record; the desk never overwrites them with a composite. Cron can queue aged units on a schedule, but a person still opens Approvals before anything goes to Marketplace or a portal.
Use Listing Studio when a unit needs a truthful ad, not when you want a prettier different car. Walkaround colour questions belong in Intelligence / PhotoBooth, labelled as factory examples. This desk is for the metal on this lot.
