Register models without storing keys
Add a cloud or local model for this rooftop. Agent OS keeps a credential reference, never the secret. Nothing sends from this page.
Open Models at /agentos/models. Register a catalogued cloud provider or a local runtime such as Ollama. Cloud hosts are locked to the provider catalog. Local base URLs must be loopback or RFC1918 IP literals — hostnames and metadata addresses are rejected.
The desk stores the credential key name only, for example OPENAI_API_KEY. The secret itself lives in Agent Vault on the Providers page, or stays unset. Seed and demo desks stay fail-closed unless AGENT_VAULT_ALLOW_DEV_ADMIN is set for a local administrator.
Mark one default per capability. Cost fields are operator-entered metadata, not a live invoice. Health starts as unknown until a later runtime probe. autoSend stays false. Registering a model does not send a customer message or publish a listing.
If you need a custom remote host, it must be HTTPS, listed in AGENT_MODEL_URL_ALLOWLIST, and explicitly approved. Arbitrary remotes are rejected.
